The short version
This app is a private bookkeeping tool for rental properties and construction jobs. It collects what you type or import, keeps it in your own account, shows it to nobody else unless you hand out a link, and lets you take all of it out as spreadsheet files whenever you want. When money moves — a membership fee, an online rent payment — the card or bank details go to Stripe, the payment processor, and never touch this app. The app you sign into shows no ads and carries no analytics or ad tracking at all. The marketing site is different: it counts visits, and some of its pages carry Meta's ad pixel, which sets a cookie so we can tell whether an ad or post brought you in. The details are below.
Who runs it
RentBloque is a service of Raekor Digital LLC, a Florida limited liability company. For any privacy question, or to have your data corrected or removed, email support@rentbloque.com.
What the app stores
- Property and tenant records you enter or import — addresses, rents, tenant names and phone numbers, Section 8 details, charges and payments.
- Construction records — builds, phases, costs, contracts, photos and receipts.
- Files you import — bank statements, rent ledgers, receipts and screenshots are archived in your account after an import, so you keep the paper trail behind every number.
- Documents you keep — leases and insurance papers you add to a property's pocket, and when a lease is signed in the app, the signed copy with both typed signatures and its record page.
- What comes in through the links you hand out — a repair request a tenant sends (their description, a phone number if they give one, photos), the name a tenant types to sign a lease — along with when and from what device and connection it was signed, which is part of what makes the signature provable — and the photos, notes and checklist ticks a crew member submits, along with which link sent them and when it was last used.
- Your sign-in email address. There are no passwords; signing in works by a code sent to your email.
Where it lives
Everything is stored with Supabase, a database service hosted in the United States, and the app itself is served by Vercel, a US hosting service. Each account's records are separated at the database level — one account can never read another's. Photos and files live in private storage that only your account can open. Emails the app sends — sign-in codes, the monthly report — are delivered by Resend, an email service; if you have the monthly report turned on, that email includes a backup file of your records. The rentbloque.com homepage, the Spanish homepage, the free-sheet pages (English and Spanish) and the public demo page use Vercel's anonymous visit counting — page views and referrers, with no cookies and no identity attached; the app you sign into is never counted. The homepage, the Spanish homepage and the free-sheet pages also carry the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It sets a cookie named _fbp in your browser and tells Meta which of those pages you opened and whether you asked for a free sheet or started a trial, so we can see which ads and posts work. Meta may connect that to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy. We do not send Meta your email address. The demo, these privacy and terms pages, and the app you sign into never carry the pixel. To stop it, block cookies for rentbloque.com in your browser, or turn off ad tracking in your Facebook or Instagram settings. When you start a trial from the homepage form, the page you came from and any campaign tag in the link you clicked are sent along with your request so the founder can tell which ad or post brought you in; that goes only into the one notification email he receives, and is not stored anywhere.
If you ask for one of the free sheets on rentbloque.com (the build cost sheet, for example), we keep your email address, the language of the page you used and the same came-from note, so we can send you the sheet and a few follow-up notes about the app. Every one of those notes carries an unsubscribe link, and one tap stops them; email support@rentbloque.com to have the address removed entirely.
Payments
Membership fees and online rent payments are processed by Stripe. The app never sees or stores a card number or bank account number — a payer enters those on Stripe's own page, and what comes back to the app is the bookkeeping line: amount, date and payment method. A tenant's online rent payment goes directly to their landlord's own Stripe account; this app's operator never holds that money.
The AI imports
When you use an import that reads a document — a bank statement, a rent ledger, a receipt — the files you picked are sent to Anthropic's Claude service to be read, and the results come back as records marked for your review, with one-tap undo, before they count as yours. The same applies to emails you forward to your payment inbox address. The files are processed to answer that one request under Anthropic's commercial terms; they are also archived in your own account, and nowhere else.
Tenants' information
Your tenants' details are entered by you, the landlord, or sent in by a tenant through the Tenant link you hand out — a repair request, a photo, an online rent payment. Either way they are visible only to your account, and a tenant paying rent online gives their payment details to Stripe, never to this app. You are responsible for using tenants' details the way your lease and local law allow. A tenant who wants their information corrected or removed should ask their landlord.
Crew members' information
A crew link carries a name you chose and records what is submitted through it — photos, notes, ticks, repair reports — and when it was last used. That activity is visible to the account owner who handed out the link. A crew member who wants an entry corrected or removed should ask whoever gave them their link.
Getting your data out
Every major screen has a CSV export. What you export is yours, with no strings attached — the app is built on the rule that you can always take your records and leave.
Deleting your data
Email support@rentbloque.com and your records will be deleted — including everything tenants or crew members submitted through your links. An expired trial account is frozen, not deleted — your records stay intact until you ask for them to be removed.
If the business ever changes hands
If the service is ever sold or merged into another company, your records go with it so the service keeps working — and this policy's promises go with them, binding whoever takes over. Any such change will be noted on the What's new page.
